Terms of use
Last updated 12 June 2026 · Early access
These terms govern your use of the TrueRecord website and services. They are deliberately short while we are in early access and will be formalised as the service matures. Using the site means you accept them.
The service
TrueRecord provides AI-assisted transcription, with optional human review and certification offered as per-job tiers. Quotes and turnaround times are confirmed per job.
Accuracy and the sample tool
Transcripts produced by the homepage sample tool are AI drafts for demonstration only and are not certified records. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality. For matters requiring an accurate or evidentiary record, use our human-review or certified tiers. We do not warrant that an AI draft is free of errors.
Your responsibilities
You confirm you are entitled to submit any recording you upload and to have it transcribed, and that doing so does not breach any law, court order, or confidentiality or privacy obligation.
Confidentiality and data
We handle your recordings as described in our privacy page, including deletion within 30 days or on request, and we do not train models on your data.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for the early-access service is limited to re-performing the transcription or refunding the fee paid for the affected job.
